Ahupua'a Agriculture: land design, system of farming, and way of life- this ancient system of land-use extends Mauka Makai', from the "mountains to the sea". This island is divided into natural watersheds and each of these bio-regions is designed to be self-sufficient. People living in an Ahupua'a enjoy the abundance that comes from everything high in the mountains to the sea including everything in between- forests, fields, gardens, and streams. People in the mountains and forest, famers and gardeners enjoy trade with coastal area dwellers that supply fish, seaweed, and other seafood for residence living mauka from the ocean. Plums, pears and apples grow at higher elevations, bananas, coconut and avocado grow better at lower elevation. Activating and sharing in the abundance of our Ahupua'a is one way that we may all enjoy more fruits and wonders of people and nature: adventure travel, arts, crafts, services, food and discoveries to behold!
Activating new Kaua'i University basecamp in Kokee- Years ago the insight came that Kaua'i and specifically the Kokee Mountains, were going to be among the best places to be in order to weather Earth Changes and a complete re-structuring of the Earth's coastline and geography.
Within the last two weeks Kauai University has co-created a facility 19 miles up Waimea Canyon Road. Here we have shelter, water, food, electricity, five-foot satellite dish, gardens, and a vast, unexplored region of Hawaii that is considered by many to be their favorite part of Kaua'i and all of Hawaii.
Every day, six days per week we are working on the land, exploring the local wilderness, creating warm, dry shelter for staff, students and visitors while manifesting the best school in the world for survival, sustainable living, and enlightenment."Beyond 2012"- is an eMotion-picture featuring highlights of the challenges and rewards of living in paradise.Kaua'i University network of cabins and other facilities- There are dozens of cabins and other buildings and facilities in Kokee not being used. Some of these are ready to move-in. Others require repair and remodeling. All require attention in the form of human habitatin and upkeep. These offices and facilities are intended to be a place where staff, students, clients and visitors may live, work, play, meet, "plan the work and work the plan" for achieving the mission and objectives of Kaua'i University. This includes having a warm, dry, beautiful, spacious, place to live, eat, work, meditate, pray and play and also having high-speed internet, movies on demand, computer graphics and video production capability. The goal is maintaining and enhancing global web communication for commerce and funding while also serving as a venue for showcasing University staff, students, visitor experiences, art, crafts, lessons, and presentations.
YouTube videos- The art and science of creating YouTube videos is a 21st century global phenomenon. We show you how to first just shoot and upload a professional or quasi-professional video that may be used to promote and support your or anyone else's art, craft, business, idea, music or cause.
Creating Your Own Global Web Presence- This comprehensive workshop (90 minutes to 4 hours) gives you, your clients, staff or students all that you/they need in order to create a functional, attractive, personal, business or organization domain name, website, PayPal and Amazon accounts, YouTube channel, Blog, Facebook and email. These are all seemlessly linked and integrated for selling or giving away whatever you have to share.
Na Pali Coast Stewardship- trail mapping, assessment and maintenance, garbage clean-up of Hanakapiai, "six-mile" and removal of garbage from helicopter pad at Kalalau Beach.
One-person, one-vote System of Self-Governing- using existing infrastructure, we are working to establish a very effective working model of a system of self-governing where everyone involved has an equal say. The modern-day financial system was built on billions of dollars of expenditure in research, development and global marketing. Now that system is available to all of us- for free. We can use that system, especially the secure aspect of it that national and international money exchanges are conducted, to create a secure, accurate and reliable method of casting votes on any and all issues at the municipal, state and national level or even at the group or community council level. Indeed, it shall be at the group or tribal council leve that this new paradigm shift of self-governing begins and ends.
Global Free Energy- this is an on-going research and development project. One major discovery is that the only reason we do not yet have water power, fuel and energy is because we will use it to kill each other. So, perhaps, after the wars have ended, we can all enjoy Global Free Energy.
